whole house humidifiers… what has been your experience?

I want to hear from people who have one (rated for 2000 sq.ft.) and let me know what brand/model it is and their experience. I don’t need links to websites to review them. I’ve done my homework and then some. I need to hear from actual users as to what they like or don’t like about their model. I’m looking for something that outputs a decent amount of moisture without having to fill it multiple times a day. Please advise whether your experience has been good and why… or has been bad and why.
I have a wood burning insert in my fireplace and though I love the heat output… it dries the air so much that wood shrinks, skin cracks, etc…
