It is not difficult to put in, but very bad idea. Nothing electrical appliances should be allowed to overheat. On any heat source will mess up the television or anything else to put on it. Even a good photo will suffer over time. I suggest you find a place to put the TV. In addition, the mounting bracket for the TV needs to fixed to the wall. If you have a fireplace, it will not work unless you drill through the bricks. That will allow you to smoke in the room and make a mess, not a good plan. Good luck with your project!
