I have an indoor fireplace, can I open it from the outside and have a functional outdoor fireplace indoor /?
My fireplace lounge is on an exterior wall facing the pool. I've always wanted to break an opening from the exterior of the house so he can work both indoors and outdoors and a fireplace outside. Is my idea possible?
Most construction and remodeling companies must offer free estimates (especially now with the housing market decline) and I ask a few. Ask them out and explain what you want. See if you say it's possible or not, or if the cost would still be worth doing. Sounds like a cool idea! I bet it's possible, with a kind of hinge-metal door on both sides. You should be able to close on the inside, if used outside, I think, because the winds and the strong possibility of his living room catch on fire.
