How do you light my Majestic Direct Vent Gas Fireplace?

It was working fine until you close the flue gas. Now I can not get to light. My fireplace has a wall switch to turn on the gas. When the switch was off, had a little flame which I assume was the pilot. With the switch, I turned the gas back on. Set the dial to test, pressed for a few seconds while pressing the power button several times. I see the spark, but not light. I also tried to make it "ON" and then flipped the switch on the wall, but still no luck. I have read several posts on the purge air from the line, so it held during the pilot button for one minute good, without trying to ignite. Thanks for any help.

Check handle gas line is in (which seem to parallel the gas line), then the pilot switch down as you have done, should the light.
