Can I install ceramic tile on top of plaster?
I'm using ceramic tiles to build a fireplace surround. I install the tile directly on plasterboard, or do I have to use cement board? Thank you. Could not you just take the gloss off the paint sanding a bit?
You can install ceramic tile over sheet rock / wall panel without any problem.
