Why is my wife getting shocked?

We just moved into a new house and my wife is getting shocked like 4 or 5 times a day. This only happens to her except one time she touched me and we both got shocked. It’s not only on electrical devices, though it is mostly electrical devices, but sometimes the fireplace of doorknobs.

I agree with the others, I read ahead of answering this time. But also I just found out something recently. Some people, and I’m one of them, have a slightly different chemical balance than most others and so we are more ‘conductive’ than most others. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, boy is it a body tightening experience. I just have a very lightweight pair of cotton gloves I slip on when this starts to happen, and it seems to do the trick. Usually only lasts for about a week when it shows up. I wish I could remember what it was specifically that I found out, but I’m about half way through one of the larger holes in the swiss cheese of my brain right now. Sorry couldn’t be of more help. I empathize with your wife. And with you. But isn’t it nice that at this stage of your marriage your wife can still ’shock’ you? (tiny laugh)
