Decorate a dark room with royal blue carpet and a red brick chimney.?

I would like to repaint the walls. One wall of the chimney all. Another wall is a bay window 12 feet above triangular windows and another wall has a sliding glass door 9 feet. Not much wall to paint, but I'm sure, but the darker blue carpet to deal with. What color paint? and other window coverings?
